What’s rooted
The aroma of those peaks
The contraction of our plights
For the nature
Surrounding the stature
He fell off the ladder
Climbing to the peak
He slipped away
As her heart fell into the deep
Deepest ocean alas
For it was but a wave
Just a hand turned
And it waved like a shore
Rooted
In her mind
Life finds a part to play
Sounds of love
Escapes the window
For in her minds eye
Heat melts like ice
Drinking from his pot of love
Aside the slow steady moves
Rooted in her heart is love
Yet the mind is in contention
Prolly a belt will do
Cause she needs to tighten her seat
Just beneath her heart
Love for man just becomes her art
Rooted
From the walls of Jericho
As rich as he’s red and gold
Fire heats their dying love
As man shows love for her
Making her see reason
That reason why she’s the only one
Breaking man apart
She would never do
Yet there’s a force
Acting in upon her
For the very heart
She gave a chance
Now looks her in the eye
While he breaks her down
Like water in science
As H²O
Pardon my manners
But I get emotional
When my man
Yes I said my man
Doesn’t compliment me on what he has to
For the record
He should know
He willingly came to start all these
She says in her mind
We say in our mind
Yes without communication
Everything still stays in our mind
Rooted
Is the very thing
We call respect
Love will stay in its place
Waiting to be set free
Like a caged bird
I lay low
Awaiting my masters command
Like a lion
Lying in wait for my prey
Seeking and watching as I pray
I wait for the time
He will love me for sure
Not to pretend nor hide me
Not to please me yet back bite me
Everything I’m writing
If it makes sense to you
Support me.
