“Ghana is hot”… When we say Ghana is hot we mean it. We are not only talking about our burning skins from the full effect of the scotching sun right above our heads. When we say Ghana is hot we also mean the difficult situation in the country has left almost everyone frustrated.
You may want to hop into a car to dodge the scotching sun but it’s hard to buy one in these difficult situations leaving you no option but to depend on commercial vehicles.
Gone are the days we used to walk to the roadside to pick a taxi or troski. The introduction of easier access to commercial vehicles by the likes of Uber, Bolt etc has brought some relief.
However, it has not taken away the frustration as some drivers and their customers have taken to their chats to voice it out. Take a trip down this piece as we go through some driver-customer conversations you may find hilarious.
Sometimes when you order a trip, the driver would ask where you’re going to making you wonder if the driver has a map at all. Check out the response this driver gave when he was asked to use his map…
Heavy traffic problems have always lingered sometimes delaying the arrival of our ordered trips. Well a driver seems to have found a plausible solution to it here but his customer may disagree…
Has someone ever done something to you which anytime it crosses your mind you feel like killing them? Well, a customer cancelled this driver’s trip and I feel he got that same feeling as even after 3 days he wouldn’t let it go…
Well it’s not everyone who likes to talk much. Talk less, show action they say, and that’s exactly what this driver decided to do…
As said earlier, Ghana is hot and almost everyone is frustrated. Sometimes it extends to even inanimate objects like cars… The driver may be willing but the car is so much frustrated that it just won’t move…
Talk of inanimate objects getting frustrated, it is not really clear what is happening here whether this driver’s phone is acting from frustration or it is the driver himself who is frustrated, or the English…you tell me…
Some drivers took their social studies and English reading and writing too seriously in school. Mess around with them and they won’t keep long showing you their essay writing skills. His English teacher would be proud of him…
It’s not always on the drivers. Sometimes they may arrive but you’re not ready yet. It’s no sin if they ask for compensation…
Is it that difficult to cancel a trip? Well I’ll leave this one to you to make your own conclusions…
We could go on and on about these driver-customer conversations but I’d leave the rest to you to enjoy alone…
