Rosemund Brown, popularly known as Akuapem Poloo has had her appeal rejected by an Accra Circuit Court
The actress and public figure was handed a 90-day jail term for sharing nude posts of herself and her son on social media in June 2020. She was found guilty of violating the dignity and integrity of the then 7-year-old boy.
After serving a short stint of her sentence, her judgement was appealed whereof she was granted an 80,000 cedis bail awaiting judgement on the appeal.
On Wednesday, 1st December, 2021, a court in Accra under Justice Ruby Aryeetey dismissed her appeal, therefore ordering her to continue her jail term.
The court also ordered that her son be given to a competent relative to take care of him as the mother serves her sentence at Nsawam Prison.
