As much as Twitter is known to spark off some interesting conversations, I chanced upon one of such conversations about pre-wedding photoshoots.
The tweet read “Why do people do pre-wedding shoots?”. While some condemned the idea of pre-wedding shoots in general, Several others shared interesting opinions on the topic.
Amongst the many comments we pick some funny and interesting opinions to share, together with our seven(7) opinions.
1. Camera comfortability builder; Picture taking may seem to be an easy task but not for everyone. And facing the camera suddenly in public with all eyes on you on your big day is definitely going to take some nerves. Pre-wedding shoots gives partners the opportunity with the photographer alone to practice and build confidence towards the big day.
Yeah , it's very necessary ???

2. Test run for looks; Nobody wants to be looking awkward in their wedding photos. You may be looking fly and sexy in your make-up and hairstyles but the camera would show otherwise. Pre-wedding photoshoots gives you the chance to try taking pictures in different make-ups, hairstyles, poses and dresses before the D-Day and to know which one best fits.
To tease haters ?

3. Memory Creator; The greatest essence of picture-taking is the chance it gives to recall cherished moments of our lives. Wedding day pictures will give you the memory of your wedding but what about the period before the wedding? Pre-wedding photoshoots will give you the chance to take pictures of the happy and adrenaline-filled period before the wedding. Moments you love to recall as years pass by.
Just like a teaser or a trailer for a new movie.

4. Photographer-wedders connection builder; Pre-wedding photoshoots gives you the chance to know how best your photographer works especially if he’s new. It’ll give you a chance to check out the photographer’s handiwork and give the partners time alone with their photographer. A chance to get friendlier and communicate easily. The photographer also gets to know their customer and what best suits you.
The reason is so everybody see their husband in case he has another wife they cancel it fast??

5. High-quality sharable pictures; Pre-wedding shoots provide you with high quality pictures that can be used on flyers, invitation cards and save-the-date pictures especially if done earlier enough. They can even be framed and used for the marriage homes.
Overindulgence! Wasteful to say the least!

6. Leisure and fun; The period before wedding can be busy and hectic with all the planning and preparations. Pre-wedding shoots give partners some time off all that stress to have some quality fun time.
They have nothing sensible to do for the mean time

7. Creativity explorer; Gone are the days where photographers instructed the couples to do a some boring poses. In our modern era, couples want to try out possible creative poses to express themselves better. As weddings can be a bit more formal amidst the audience and all, pre-wedding photoshoots provide a perfect chance for both partners to be free and get their creative juices flowing.

Amongst all the reasons, pre-wedding shoots are more of luxury than necessity so before you choose to enjoy the benefits of it, you might want to consider if you’re in position for luxury because it might be cost effective to avoid it too.
